Wyoming Valley Conference and District 2 Class 2A champion Crestwood went wire-to-wire as the top-ranked team in the Riverfront Sports Boys Lacrosse Rankings of district teams.
The final rankings of the season were released Tuesday morning.
Second-ranked Wyoming Seminary joins Crestwood as the teams active in the state tournament, which opens Tuesday. The Blue Knights qualified as the second-place team in Class 2A.
With Crestwood holding three head-to-head wins over Wyoming Seminary, the rankings will not change regardless of the outcome of the state tournament.
The rankings remained the same as last week.
Delaware Valley, Scranton Prep and Dallas hold down the 3-4-5 spots.
Delaware Valley is the District 2 Class 3A champion, but did not make the state tournament because it was not able to get through a District 2-11 Subregional.
Scranton Prep and Dallas joined Crestwood and Wyoming Seminary in the District 2 Class 2A semifinals before losing there.
