Susquehanna became the latest school to temporarily shut down its athletic programs in response to COVID concerns.
The school district first canceled a scheduled Monday night home boys basketball game with Canton early Monday, then called off all activities for its athletic teams until Dec. 26. That decision led to the postponements of girls basketball games at Scranton Tuesday and Western Wayne Thursday.
Susquehanna joins Carbondale and Lake-Lehman, which earlier made decisions to pause athletics until after Christmas.
