Actions goes from morning until night Thursday for District 2 teams involved in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association baseball and softball quarterfinals.
Wyoming Area has the morning game in Class 4A against Eastern Lebanon County (ELCO) to start a baseball tripleheader at DeSales University. Scranton Prep plays there at 2:30 against Oley Valley in Class 3A. Abington Heights has the night game, starting at 6 against Manheim Central in Class 5A.
There is also an afternoon softball doubleheader at Patriots Park in Allentown and a softball game within District 2 territory.
Mid Valley is the team playing close to home, meeting North Schuylkill in Class 3A softball at 1 p.m. at Marywood University.
The doubleheader at Allentown includes Tunkhannock vs. Hamburg in Class 4A at 2 p.m. and West Scranton vs. West Chester East in Class 5A at 4 p.m.
Riverside takes its unbeaten record to Wenger Field in Fredericksburg for a Class 2A baseball game against McConnellsburg for a 2 p.m. game.
MMI Prep plays Juniata Valley in Class A baseball at 3 p.m.
Lake-Lehman has a Class 3A baseball game against Trinity at Walter Stump Stadium in Pine Grove at 4:30 p.m.
