Boys and girls basketball tournament championships will be decided at three sites Wednesday.

The Lynett Memorial Tournament titles will be determined at the Lackawanna College Student Union.

The Honesdale Jaycees Tournaments will finish up at the school’s two gyms.

Valley View will host a doubleheader with the Lou Camoni Memorial Tournament championship for girls and the Peter Turonis Memorial/NBT Classic final for boys.

Scranton Prep will play in both Lynett finals, facing the No. 1 Big School team in the My City Mortgage Super Six Power Rankings of District 2 teams in each case.

The Classics will meet Dunmore in a 5:30 battle of unbeatens and the two top-ranked Big School girls teams in the Super Six.

The Cavaliers will face Scranton in the boys final, scheduled for 7.

Wallenpaupack’s two once-beaten teams will go for the sweep at Honesdale. The girls face Western Wayne and the boys meet East Stroudsburg South.

Valley View had byes in what became three-team tournaments in Carbondale’s absence because of COVID. The host Cougars will play Lakeland for the girls title at 5, then Mid Valley for the boys championship at 7.

The 11-game boys schedule also includes West Scranton (6-1) at Riverside (5-1) for the Taylor Lions Tournament title, Hazleton Area in a consolation game in Allentown and two non-league games.

There are a dozen girls games scheduled, including rivals Wyoming Area (5-3) and Pittston Area (7-0) meeting at Old Forge for the Anthony “Badger” Marseco Tournament title, Hazleton Area opening the Truance Holiday Tournament at Punxsutawney and five non-league games.

Wrestling teams from District 2 are busy in tournament action at various locations, including the completion of two-day events at Tunkhannock, Jim Thorpe and Bethlehem Liberty and the start of today-day events at Conestoga Valley (Pittston Area), Chambersburg (Lackawanna Trail) and Windsor, N.Y. (Blue Ridge).
