The top two teams in Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 baseball will try again today after weather prevented their scheduled showdown Thursday.
Hazleton Area travels to Dallas for a 4:30 p.m. game.
The Cougars have District 2’s best record at 13-0 overall and lead Division 1 with an 8-0 record. The host Mountaineers are 8-3 and are second in Division 1 at 6-1.
Hazleton Area is the top-ranked Big School baseball team in the Riverfront Sports Super Six Power Rankings.
The No. 1 girls lacrosse team also faces a challenge.
Scranton Prep (7-2, 7-1) is at Crestwood (11-2, 10-0) in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 game.
