Sunday is Rivalry Day in District 2 with four of the five events on the schedule pitting Wyoming Area and Pittston Area teams against each other or Old Forge teams against Riverside.
Pittston Area is at Wyoming Area in girls lacrosse to get it started in the morning. Pittston Area is 4-9, both in the Wyoming Valley Conference and overall. Wyoming Area is 8-2 in the WVC and 10-2 overall.
Riverside’s unbeaten baseball team (12-0, 15-0) travels to Old Forge (4-8, 5-10) for a Lackawanna League Division 3 game.
The schools also get together in softball.
Riverside (2-10, 5-11) is at Old Forge (6-5, 10-5) in Lackawanna Division 3.
Pittston Area (9-3) is at Wyoming Area (6-6) in a non-league game.
