The Lady Chiefs are ranked sixth among Small Schools and the Lady Meteors fourth in the Riverfront United Super Six Power Rankings of District 2 teams going into the meeting of teams that split the last two District 2 Class A championship games.

Pittston Area (2-0) shares the lead with Wyoming Seminary going into its home game with MMI Prep, which won a non-leaguer in its only game and is the last team to begin divisional play.
