Pittston Area (2-0) shares the lead with Wyoming Seminary going into its home game with MMI Prep, which won a non-leaguer in its only game and is the last team to begin divisional play.

Three-quarters of the Lackawanna League cross country teams are in competition today, highlighted by Scranton facing Montrose and host Elk Lake in meetings of 3-0 teams in both boys and girls.
Montrose is ranked second, Elk Lake fifth and Scranton sixth in girls while the Scranton boys are third and Montrose boys 11th in the Century Dental Associates Cross Country Power Rankings of District 2 teams.
