Wyoming Sem final No. 1 team

Wyoming Seminary used an 18-8 romp over Crestwood in Tuesday’s District 2 Class 2A championship game to lock up the No. 1 ranking in the final Riverfront Sports Boys Lacrosse Power Rankings of District 2 teams.

The final three sets of rankings during the season were the same.

The three Wyoming Valley Conference co-champions remain in the top three spots and the five teams that made it into the past week occupy the five rankings spots.

Only No. 1 Wyoming Seminary and No. 3 Crestwood, which both qualified for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class 2A state tournament, remain active.

Delaware Valley, which had a 12-game winning streak end when it was eliminated in the semifinals of the District 2-11 Class 3A Subregional semifinals, is the No. 2 team.

Scranton Prep and Lake-Lehman lost in the District 2 Class 2A semifinals and finished in the fourth and fifth spots.
