Wyoming Seminary playoff streak

The most successful state playoff run in Pennsylvania high school field hockey history includes several different types of streaks.

The four straight Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class A state championships are the result of 27 consecutive playoff wins by Wyoming Seminary.

A look at the games that make up the playoff winning streak by the Blue Knights:

2018 District 2 playoffs

Quarterfinal – Berwick, 13-0

Semifinal – Northwest, 11-0

Final – Wyoming Area, 3-2

2018 PIAA state tournament

First Round – Bermudian Springs, 3-0

Quarterfinal – Central Columbia, 11-0

Semifinal – Greenwood, 4-0

Final – Newport, 2-0

2019 District 2 playoffs

Quarterfinal – Berwick, 13-0

Semifinal – Lackawanna Trail, 7-1

Final – Wyoming Area, 2-0

2019 PIAA state tournament

First Round – Harrisburg Bishop McDevitt, 5-0

Quarterfinal – Newport, 3-2 (overtime)

Semifinal – Greenwood, 4-2

Final – Oley Valley, 1-0 (double overtime)

Quarterfinal – Hanover Area, 12-0

Semifinal – Lake-Lehman, 3-1

Final – Wyoming Area, 1-0 (overtime)
