Crestwood and Lake-Lehman are in familiar positions – No. 1 and No. 2 – in the first Riverfront Sports Girls Lacrosse Power Rankings of the season.
The Lady Comets and Lady Knights finished 1-2, in that order, in both the Wyoming Valley Conference standings and District 2 Class 2A last season. They also occupied those spots in the final Power Rankings.
The other three teams in the first rankings of this season are also the same as the end of last season, however, in a different order.
Wyoming Seminary opens the season in third following Tuesday’s 11-5 victory over Wyoming Area in the opener for both teams.
Scranton Prep is again fifth.
