Blue Ridge sophomore Connor Cranage and Holy Redeemer senior Matt Prociak were selected to the Class 2A team when the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association named its boys all-state team.
Cranage and Prociak were the only players from District 2 recognized when the squad was announced Sunday night.
Blue Ridge won the District 2 title, finished third in the District 1-2-11 Subregional and won a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association first-round match to reach the state Class 2A quarterfinals in a 15-4 season. The Raiders were 10-2 in the Lackawanna League to finish second to Abington Heights, a Class 3A school.
Cranage led the Raiders in kills (257), hitting percentage (.360) and blocks (48). He was second on the team in digs and assists and third in aces.
Holy Redeemer finished third in the Wyoming Valley Conference with a 9-2 record.
Prociak led the team in kills (315), hitting percentage (.377), blocks (84) and aces (31).
