Nasir Hennigan ran 57 and 28 yards for third-quarter touchdowns Friday night to lead Williamsport to a come-from-behind, 29-12 victory over visiting Pittston Area in a non-league football game between Wyoming Valley Conference teams.
Hennigan finished with 135 yards on 15 carries.
The Millionaires erased a 12-0, halftime deficit for their first win under new coach Mike Pearson.
Hennigan’s 57-yard touchdown got it started.
George Whaley scored on an 11-yard run, then Hennigan’s second touchdown made it 22-12 going into the fourth quarter.
The Millionaires added an insurance touchdown when Caleb Williamson hit Yahzir Slaughter with a 77-yard touchdown pass.
Pittston Area opened the scoring on a 7-yard run by Harry Pugliese after Drew DeLucca found Kevin Lockett with a 51-yard pass.
DeLucca then passed to Lockett for a 2-yard touchdown.
The Patriots fell to 0-2.
