Mykal Julian ran for three touchdowns and Jaylin Collins two Friday night as Nanticoke used its ground dominance to turn back visiting Lake-Lehman by posting a 32-0 shutout in the Wyoming Valley Conference football game.
The result left both Nanticoke (2-3 overall) and Lake-Lehman (1-4) with 1-1 records in the division.
Julian led the way in a ground game that produced more than 350 yards while the Trojans were throwing just one pass, which was incomplete. He scored on a 2-yard run in the first quarter and a 5-yarder in the second for a 13-0 halftime lead.
Collins ran 1 and 17 yards for scores in the third quarter.
Julian closed the scoring with a 20-yarder early in the fourth quarter.
Nanticoke’s defense has posted shutouts in both of the team’s victories this season.
