With all the moving parts, the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association and its member schools needed until almost noon Friday, but a busy Saturday schedule is now set.
All 21 games involving District 2 teams in the first round of the state basketball tournament will now be packed into Saturday after weather concerns led to 11 Friday postponements.
The Holy Redeemer girls will play at Mount Carmel Saturday at 4 p.m. in the last postponed game to be finalized.
The Scranton girls will play on the road at noon. The other 20 games will all have starting times between 3 and 6 p.m.
There will be doubleheaders at Scranton, Scranton Prep and Abington Heights.
The West Scranton boys will open the doubleheader at Scranton. Scranton Prep and Abington Heights have both their teams at home in those doubleheaders.
In the case of Scranton Prep and Abington Heights, tickets for either game will be good for the doubleheader. For the doubleheader at Scranton, the gym will be cleared between games.
The Forest City boys will play a neutral court game to start a doubleheader at Lewisburg at 6 p.m.
Starting times for games were altered when they were moved from Friday to Saturday.
Any tickets previously purchased will still be honored. There is no need for fans to buy replacement tickets.
