Seven of the eight District 2 boys tennis team tournament quarterfinals will be held today.
The matches are on the home court of the higher seeds and determine which teams advance to Kirby Park where the semifinals and finals are scheduled to be played Wednesday.
The top matchup, as expected, would appear to be a meeting between a fifth and fourth seed. Wyoming Seminary (7-2) travels to Honesdale (10-3).
The regular season continues in other spring sports.
Montrose, which has already clinched at least a tie for first place, can win the Lackawanna Track Conference Division 4 championship outright if the Lady Meteors (4-0) win at second-place Mountain View (2-1).
Another first-place at second-place matchup sends Mid Valley (8-0 in division, 10-1 overall) to Holy Cross (6-2, 7-3) in Lackawanna League Division 3 softball.
Third-place North Pocono (4-2, 6-3) is at Lackawanna League boys volleyball leader Abington Heights (7-0, 7-2).
