The postseason continues Thursday with one of District 2’s showcase events, the Cross Country Championships, which will begin at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds in Meshoppen at 9:30 a.m.
There are also playoffs in field hockey and girls volleyball along with the final day of the regular season in boys and girls soccer.
Class 3A boys start the day at cross country, followed an hour apart by Class 3A girls, Class A boys, Class A girls to start the afternoon at 12:30, Class 2A boys and Class 2A girls in the final race at 2:30.
Girls volleyball has action in Class 3A and A.
Dallas is at top-seeded Berwick and Nanticoke is at Crestwood in 3A.
Susquehanna is at top-seeded Blue Ridge for the right to meet Mountain View in the Class A final.
All three matches are at 6 p.m.
There are two Class A quarterfinals in field hockey.
Holy Redeemer is at Lake-Lehman at 5:30 and Tunkhannock is at Wyoming Seminary at 6.
