Wednesday’s National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I basketball schedule included games for three teams with District 2 graduates on their rosters.

Bucknell (12-15 overall, 8-8 Patriot League) lost to visiting Lehigh (15-12 overall, 11-5 Patriot League), 84-72

Started, played 31 minutes; 6/15 FG, 2/3 on 3-pointers, 5/6 FT, 19 points; 1 offensive, 1 defensive, 2 total rebounds; 4 assists; 2 turnovers.
Notes
Bucknell outscored Lehigh, 27-13, in the third quarter to overcome a nine-point halftime deficit. The Bison played turnover-free basketball in the third quarter and Collins scored 9 of her team-high 19 points in the quarter. … Lehigh pulled away in the fourth quarter, building a 13-point lead in the final minutes and prevail over the Bison. … Bucknell’s starters scored 69 of the team’s 72 points.

LEO O’BOYLE, LAFAYETTE COLLEGE MEN

Lafayette gave first-place Colgate all it could handle. … The first half went back-and-forth as both teams shot better than 50 percent from the field. … The second half was tightly contested until the final minutes of play. Lafayette cut the lead to as little as one point with 5:40 left. The Raiders closed the game on a 7-4 run to clinch the win. … O’Boyle, the lone senior on Lafayette’s roster is closing in on 1,000 points with 972 career points. O’Boyle would become the 48th Leopard to reach the 1,000-point plateau. … Entering Wednesday’s contest, O’Boyle ranked second in the Patriot League in free-throw percentage at 85.5 percent.

Bryant’s defense held NJIT to 28 second-half points to overcome a 50-37 halftime deficit and hang on for the win over the Highlanders. … NJIT’s Adam Hess and Kevin Osawe let the Highlanders with 25 and 23 points, respectively.
