Baseball quarterfinal schedules announced for Thursday
District 2’s six remaining representatives in the state baseball tournament learned their Thursday quarterfinal schedules when the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association released its sites and times Tuesday afternoon.
Half of the teams are headed to DeSales University in Center Valley.
Wyoming Area will play first at 11 a.m. at DeSales in a Class 4A game against Eastern Lebanon County (ELCO). Scranton Prep will play Oley Valley in Class 3A at 2:30.
DeSales is also the site of the latest game of the day with Abington Heights taking on Manheim Central at 6 p.m. in Class 5A.
Riverside takes its unbeaten record to Wenger Field in Fredericksburg for a 2 p.m. Class 2A game against McConnellsburg.
MMI Prep plays Juniata Valley in Class A at Newport at 3 p.m.
Lake-Lehman faces Trinity at Walter Stump Stadium in Pine Grove at 4:30 p.m. in a Class 3A game.
