Parker Bolesta and Dylan Geskey led a 303-yard ground game that put Dallas ahead early and kept the unbeaten Mountaineers in control throughout a 42-13 victory over host West Scranton in a non-league football game.
Bolesta, the workhorse, carried 28 times for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Geskey ran for 3 scores while adding 59 yards on 9 carries.
District 2’s leading rusher, Bolesta is averaging more than 10 yards per carry through 4 games with 866 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.
Bolesta opened the scoring on a 3-yard run.
Nate Malarkey then intercepted a pass, setting up Geskey’s 8-yard touchdown run for a 14-0 lead.
Evan Laybourn-Boddie muffed the ensuing kickoff, then picked it up and went the distance for a 97-yard touchdown run.
Laybourn-Boddie also scored on an 80-yard pass from Caiden Berardi in the third quarter, but not until after Bolesta and Geskey had scored again for a 28-6 lead.
Geskey added one more touchdown and Brady Zapoticky passed to Nick Farrell for the other.
Zapoticky finished 13-for-16 for 113 yards.
Bolesta caught 5 of the passes, Joe Peters caught 3 for 47 yards and Farrell caught 2 for 38.
West Scranton slipped to 1-3.
