Dallas reaches semis, Super Six

Dallas used the only road win of the district quarterfinals to join the Riverfront Sports Super Six Boys Volleyball Power Rankings of District 2 teams.

The new rankings were posted Thursday afternoon.

Dallas replaces Berwick, the team it beat, in the sixth spot in the rankings.

Unbeaten Blue Ridge continues to occupy the top spot.

Second through fifth is also the same with Delaware Valley followed by Tunkhannock, Abington Heights and Holy Redeemer.

All six teams are in next week’s district semifinals with Delaware Valley and Abington Heights in Class 3A while the others are in Class 2A.

Dallas, the fifth seed, won the quarterfinal at fourth-seeded Berwick by set scores of 25-13, 13-25, 25-16, 25-15.

This is the last set of rankings until all teams have completed their district and, in some cases, state playoffs.
