The first formal sports activity of the 2021-22 academic year for Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association member schools will take place Monday when football teams report for heat acclimatization drills.

Football teams start mandatory workouts under the heat acclimatization guidelines to get them ready for full-contact workouts.
Monday, August 16
First day of mandatory practices for boys and girls soccer, boys and girls cross country, boys and girls golf, field hockey, girls volleyball and girls tennis as well as the beginning of full-contact drills for football teams.
