Lacota Dippre played a big role offensively and defensively when Lakeland opened its Lackawanna Football Conference Division 2 schedule by remaining unbeaten overall with a 42-2 romp over visiting Honesdale.
Dippre caught 4 passes for 75 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score. He made four tackles for losses and intercepted a pass.
The Holy Cross-committed, two-way end had plenty of help.
Dominico Spataro went 12-for-20 for 238 yards and 3 touchdowns passing. He also ran for 53 yards and 2 scores.
Jon Seamans caught 4 passes for 100 yards, intercepted a pass and returned a kickoff 36 yards.
