MELANIE GOLDEN, Crestwood girls volleyball
Golden had 106 assists, including the 1,000th of her career, to help Crestwood go 3-1 during the week. Golden also had 49 service points, 16 aces and 9 kills.
KRISTA JONES, Elk Lake girls cross country
Jones finished first in a six-team Lackawanna League cluster meet to help Elk Lake go 2-1 on the day, then came back three days later to finish first and lead the Lady Warriors to the team title of the Lasagna Invitational at Wyalusing Valley.
HAILEY KLINE, Lake-Lehman girls soccer
Kline had seven goals and two assists in a pair of Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 wins by the Lady Knights.
BILLY PABST JR., North Pocono golf
Pabst shot 6-under-par, 66 to finish seven strokes in front of the Class 3A field at Elmhurst Country Club during Lackawanna League qualifying for the District 2 Individual Golf Championships.
CAMERON RICCARDO, Mid Valley football
Riccardo was a dual threat at quarterback during Mid Valley’s 39-0 shutout of West Scranton. He was 7-for-11 passing for 161 yards and 2 touchdowns to go along with 131 yards and 2 touchdowns rushing.
C.J. ROSS, Delaware Valley football
Ross passed for 293 yards to help the Warriors to their first victory, 49-10, over Wilkes-Barre Area. Ross was 9-for-14 for 184 yards and 3 touchdowns in the first half.
