The remaining first-round games in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association softball tournaments have been finalized following the last of district and subregional games around the state.
Berwick officially joined the field, winning a Class 4A play-in game over Northwestern Lehigh, 8-4.
West Scranton has the earliest start among District 2 teams with 1 p.m. game against Elizabethtown in Class 5A to begin a doubleheader at Marywood University. The doubleheader includes Tunkhannock in the second game.
Old Forge and Mid Valley have also been put in opposite games of the same doubleheader, taking on District 4 champions at Central Columbia at 4:30 and 7.
