Lake-Lehman held Wyoming Area scoreless for 11 minutes in the middle of the game Thursday night on the way to a 40-20 victory in the Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 game.
The win came in the second Division 2 game for the defending champion Lady Knights, who lost to Holy Redeemer in their opener.
The teams traded baskets early in the second quarter, leaving Lake-Lehman with a 10-6 lead.
Wyoming Area did not score again until midway through the third quarter, after Lake-Lehman had opened a 27-6 lead.
Brenna Hunt led Lake-Lehman with 15 points. Lia Keefe added nine.
Wyoming Area was led by Morgan Janeski with eight points.

Nanticoke 70, Hanover Area 10
Claire Aufiero scored 12 of her 19 points in the first quarter as Nanticoke ran away early in the home-court win.
The Trojanettes led 25-2 after one quarter and 48-7 at halftime.
Navaeh Baron had 9 of her 13 points and Kate Reed 8 of her 12 during the second quarter.
Holy Redeemer 49, MMI Prep 7
Holy Redeemer led 39-3 at halftime on the way to matching Nanticoke at 3-0 at the top of the division.
