Mia Ashton scored 14 points Tuesday night as Holy Redeemer defeated host Holy Cross, 59-35, in non-league girls basketball.
The Lady Royals led just 10-7 after one quarter before scoring 18 points in the second quarter for a 28-16 halftime lead.
Meghan Albrecht, who finished with 11 points, hit two 3-pointers in the quarter and Katie Quinn made one.
Holy Cross was led by Guilianna Mazza with 10 points and Alison Ross with 8.

Pittston Area 44, North Pocono 32
Pittston Area hit 10 shots from 3-point range in the game, but still needed to hold North Pocono without a field goal in the fourth quarter to lock up the road victory.
Daniella Ranieli made five of the 3-pointers while scoring 21 points.
Ranieli scored seven points and was 4-for-5 from the line in the fourth quarter when the Lady Patriots pulled away after leading just 32-30.
Kallie Booth made her two shots as Pittston Area was 6-for-8 from the line in the last eight minutes. She finished with 11 points and two 3-pointers.
Ava Callahan made three 3-pointers for her nine points.
North Pocono outscored Pittston Area, 13-8, in the third quarter to cut into a seven-point halftime deficit.
Abby Lenchitsky led the Lady Trojans with nine points.
Scranton 48, Riverside 41
Lanee Olson and Finley Bittenbender scored 15 points each to lead Scranton past visiting Riverside.
Olson had eight points in the fourth quarter to help the Lady Knights expand their lead late.
Bittenbender hit a 3-pointer in each quarter.
Lillie Pon scored 15 points and grabbed 16 rebounds for Riverside.
Lexi Kostoff hit two 3-pointers and added nine points.
Lexi Thomas chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.
Blue Ridge 45, Carbondale 43
Blue Ridge, playing its opener as the last District 2 basketball team to begin its season, jumped out to a 14-5 lead in the first quarter.
The visiting Chargerettes closed to within two points at halftime and the game remained tight throughout the second half.
Hazleton Area 50, Williamsport 30
Lacie Kringe led a balanced attack with 13 points as Hazleton Area became the first district team, boys or girls, to reach 5-0 this season.
Brianna Kennedy and Sophia Shults each added 11 points.
Kennedy also had 11 rebounds and 4 steals.
Shults scored eight points in the first quarter to help get the Lady Cougars out to a 21-9 lead.
Hazleton Area stretched that lead to 33-15 at halftime and 44-21 going into the fourth quarter.
