Hanover Area’s Braydon Sock and Wyoming Seminary’s Jack Novelli matched 11-point fourth quarters Tuesday night.
The difference for Hanover Area was Sock got help.
The Hawkeyes pulled away from a one-point game to defeat the visiting Knights, 56-44, in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 boys basketball game.
Hanover Area used the win to move above .500 to a third-place tie in the division with idle Wyoming Area at 4-3.
Sock finished with 16 points.
The rest of the Hawkeyes matched his fourth-quarter contribution to outscore the Blue Knights, 22-11. David Popson hit two baskets in the quarter.
Sedrick Beasley added 12 points and Luis McCoy had 11 in the win.
Novelli led Wyoming Seminary with 17 points.

Louis Lussi scored 13 of his 19 points in the first half to help first-place Holy Redeemer open a 34-18 halftime lead on the road.
Darryl Wright and Jacob Hunter added 13 points each.
Seth Berry scored nine points for Lake-Lehman.
Nanticoke 64, MMI Prep 39
Jaidyn Johnson scored 27 points as Nanticoke used the home-court win to remain within a half-game of Holy Redeemer.
Ibn Jordan-Thomas added 12 points.
Ryan Sones led MMI Prep with 16 points.
