Emily Henn had 19 kills and 6 digs as Delaware Valley improved District 2’s only perfect overall record to 9-0 with the expected result against winless Wyoming Area.
Delaware Valley won, 25-11, 25-7, 25-6, in the Wyoming Valley Conference match.
Western Wayne defeated Mountain View, 25-21, 25-20, 25-10, in the Lackawanna League Division 1-2 crossover.
Olivia Conza had 19 service points, with the help of 7 aces, and led the team with 29 assists.
Katherine Quinn had 12 points, 6 aces and 5 kills while Jazmyne Bates had 10 points, 4 aces and 6 kills.
Leah Weinreb chipped in with nine digs, nine points and four aces.
Delaware Valley is 7-0 in the conference, a half-match behind Holy Redeemer (8-0).
Jaque Morris had nine kills, four digs and two aces in Western Wayne’s win.
Emily Romanowski had six digs, three kills, two blocks and two aces. Kaeli Romanowski had 16 assists and 2 aces. Katherine Shepherd had six kills.
Berwick bounced back from its first loss of the season two days earlier against Delaware Valley to sweep Pittston Area in the only other WVC match.
The Lady Bulldogs won, 25-16, 25-11, 25-21.
Cecelia Isenberg had 21 kills while Morgan Nevel had 27 assists and they had plenty of help in Berwick’s win.
Isenberg also had seven points, five aces and five digs. Nevel had 14 points, 4 aces, 4 kills and 9 digs.
Cassidy Evans had seven points, three digs two kills and an ace while Kaylee Hacker had five kills and a block in the Berwick win.
