Kirsten Finarelli had six kills and Ella Wilson added five Thursday as Lake-Lehman rolled into the District 2 Class 2A girls volleyball semifinals with a sweep of visiting Forest City.
Finarelli also had two blocks as the Lady Knights won the quarterfinal match, 25-6, 25-13, 25-18.
Lake-Lehman advances to face top-seeded Western Wayne in Wednesday’s semifinals.
Susquehanna won the other quarterfinal, also on its home court.
The Lady Sabers defeated MMI Prep, 25-18, 25-21, 25-20, to reach Tuesday’s Class A semifinal at top-seeded Blue Ridge.
Hazleton Area defeated Dallas in four sets in a Wyoming Valley Conference make-up match.
The Lady Cougars won, 25-16, 18-25, 25-15, 30-28.
Lindsey Barron led the way for Hazleton Area with 10 kills, 11 service points and 15 digs.
