Lackawanna Trail moved into the sixth spot for the only in the Golden Dome Abstract Super Six Field Hockey Power Rankings of District 2 teams.
The first rankings update of the regular season was released early Wednesday afternoon, just hours before the scheduled opening of the Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 season.
Two of those openers will match ranked teams.
No. 1 Wyoming Seminary will open at home against No. 3 Crestwood.
Lackawanna Trail joined the rankings when it won its first two games by a total of 16-1 while former No. 6 Hazleton Area was being shut out twice against strong competition from outside District 2.
The Lady Lions are scheduled to be at home against No. 5 Honesdale, which won its first three games, also by a 16-1 total.
Wyoming Area and Lake-Lehman held down the second and fourth spots.
