The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association on Wednesday moved the first-round Class 2A boys basketball game involving Holy Cross out of the Crusaders home gym.
The Crusaders will play Minersville from District 11 at the Lackawanna College Student Union Center Saturday at 5 p.m., two hours later than originally planned.
Higher-seeded teams, usually district champions, are allowed to host first-round games as long as their gym meets certain requirements, including being large enough to accommodate anticipated crowd sizes.
Any tickets previously purchased will still be honored. There is no need for fans to buy replacement tickets.
