Sebastian Fermin scored 21 points and Brian Cruz added 20 Wednesday night as Pocono Mountain East defeated visiting Delaware Valley, 72-50, in a non-league boys basketball game.
Jake Brower hit three 3-pointers and Isaiah Berrios one to help the Warriors lead, 18-12, until Jaquin Goodridge’s three-point play in the last second of the first quarter cut the Delaware Valley lead to three.
Brower had 13 of his 18 points in the first quarter. Ronnie McManus added 10 pints for the Warriors.
Fermin had nine points in the second quarter and Cruz made two of his four 3-pointers while scoring eight in the third to help Pocono Mountain East take control, 54-39.
Pocono Mountain East improved to 3-12.
Delaware Valley (7-6) lost for the sixth time in seven games since winning its first six.
