Reed, Mendygral choose Marywood for basketball

Two of District 2’s top boys basketball players have decided to play close to home on the college level at Marywood University.

Riverside’s Brandon Reed, the District 2 Boys Player of the Year and Lackawanna League Division 3 Player of the Year, according to NEPABasketball.com, and Wyoming Valley West’s Mason Mendygral, a first-team division all-star and the Most Valuable Player in Friday night’s Wyoming Valley Conference Senior All-Star Game, will play for the Pacers.
