Lake-Lehman returned to the Riverfront Sports Boys Lacrosse Power Rankings of District 2 teams this week while the teams at the top battled for the Wyoming Valley Conference title.
The rankings were posted early Thursday, following the results of Wednesday’s games.
No. 1 Wyoming Seminary and No. 2 Delaware Valley extended winning streaks.
Delaware Valley clinched a tie for the WVC title with its 11th straight victory, 10-5 over No. 3 Crestwood, which had already clinched a tie and was looking to repeat the championship outright.
Wyoming Seminary ran its winning streak to seven with a 17-4 rout that knocked Dallas out of the rankings. The Blue Knights need a win in their WVC finale, Thursday at home against North Pocono, to make it a three-way tie for first.
Scranton Prep held down fourth, splitting two games, with a loss to Delaware Valley.
Lake-Lehman won twice to take the fifth and final spot away from Dallas.
