The Salt Lake City Stars unveiled their 13-man roster Monday, appearing to clear the way for Abington Heights graduate J.C. Show to be in the NBA G League team’s lineup to begin the season.
Salt Lake City selected Show with its third pick in the Oct. 23 G League draft.
The affiliate of the NBA’s Utah Jazz opens its season Friday in Oklahoma City.
Show made his professional debut in the spring in The Basketball League playing with Omaha’s The Finest and ranking second in the league in free throw percentage and seventh in free throw percentage.
The former Pennsylvania Gatorade High School Player of the Year scored more than 1,000 career points in a college career that started with one season at Bucknell University before being completed at Binghamton University.
The 6-foot-3 Show is one of six guards listed on a roster that includes four forwards, two centers and one forward/center.
Show averaged 18.8 points in TBL.
The 13-player team was set after a roster move Monday, waiving one of the players that had been in camp.
