Wyoming Seminary returns to the Zephyr Sports Complex in Whitehall Saturday at 10 a.m. to meet Oley Valley for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class A state field hockey title.

The three-time defending champion Blue Knights are playing in their fifth straight final. They defeated Oley Valley, 1-0, in overtime in the 2019 final.

Wyoming Seminary is 21-2 and ranked seventh in the country by maxfieldhockey.com and topofthecircle.com. They are 740-175-46 and coach Karen Klassner’s career at the school.

The Blue Knights feature five players who are committed to National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I programs.

Senior Nicole Leo is headed to Holy Cross.

Senior Anna Mozeleski and junior Maddie Olshemski are committed to Indiana.

Juniors Ella Barbacci, who is headed to North Carolina, and Emma Watchilla, who has committed to Virginia, are the team’s top two scorers.

Oley Valley reached the final by defeating Wyoming Area, 2-0, Saturday.

Wyoming Seminary defeated Wyoming Area twice this season, 4-0 in the regular season and 4-1 in the District 2 Class A final.
