Four teams with unbeaten records will take to the track at Tunkhannock today for a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 track and field meet Tuesday.
Wyoming Area, which leads Division 2 in both boys and girls, brings its 3-0 teams to Tunkhannock. Both Tunkhannock teams are 1-0.
The top two teams in Lackawanna Track Conference Division 1 boys meet when Abington Heights (1-0) is at Valley View (2-0). The girls meet puts second-place Abington Heights (1-0) against third-place Valley View (1-1).
The Riverfront Sports Super Six Power Rankings have Valley View second and Abington Heights fifth among District 2 Big School boys teams and have Abington Heights first and Valley View sixth in Big School girls.
Both Wyoming Area teams are ranked third among Small Schools.
The first-place Elk Lake softball team takes on a second-place team in Lackawanna League Division 4 for the second straight day.
Blue Ridge (4-1) moved into second place when Elk Lake (4-0) handled Forest City, 21-12, Monday. The Lady Raiders travel to Elk Lake.
There is a lot of variety to the Tuesday schedule.
