Both North Pocono soccer teams are in action on what is otherwise a light Labor Day sports schedule around District 2.
North Pocono, the top-ranked Big School boys team in the Riverfront United Super Six Soccer Power Rankings of District 2 teams, hosts Old Forge, the fifth-ranked Small School team, at 1 p.m.
The North Pocono girls play at Wyoming Area at 4:15 p.m.
There are three girls soccer games scheduled, including Nanticoke at Holy Cross and Bloomsburg at Hazleton Area.
Pittston Area is at Delaware Valley in field hockey and Carbondale is at Honesdale in golf.
All of the day’s action is in non-league play.
