Deegan Ross and Robbie Schneider won titles at 160 and 172 pounds to lead Lackawanna Trail to a second-place finish out of 24 teams in the Darren Klingerman Invitational Friday and Saturday at Bloomsburg.
Both Ross and Schneider won their championship matches with 54-second pins. Each also started his title pursuit with a pin, then won two more bouts before the final. Schneider outscored his quarterfinal and semifinal opponents by a total of 32-4 while posting a technical fall and major decision.
Seth Ross finished second at 215 for the Lions, who scored 199½ points.
Garret Fowler (133), Ethan Lee (139), Max Bluhm (152) and Beau Ware (189) all finished third in their weight classes for the Lions.
Warrior Run won the team title with 241. Carlisle was a distant third with 159.
Berwick placed ninth with 91 points. The Bulldogs were led by third-place finishes from Liam Carroll and Bruce Hartman at 215 and 285.
The other District 2 entries struggled.
Crestwood was 22nd with 41 points and Hanover Area 23rd with 31.
Aidan Shamaski from Hanover Area was fourth at 160.

Jarvis Tournament
West Scranton placed second for the highest finish among six District 2 teams entered in the 12-team event at Athens.
Falconer (N.Y.) outscored West Scranton, 247-196, for the title.
Scranton was sixth with 137; Wilkes-Barre Area eighth with 101; Western Wayne 10th with 87.5; Mid Valley 11th with 52; and Montrose 12th with 32.
The tournament was individually based, but used a round-robin format, rather than brackets.
Colby Celuck was 5-0 with four pins and an overtime decision for West Scranton at 172 and 189.
Jason Williams (127), Michael Turi (133) and Martin Turi (152) each went 5-0 with three pins for the Invaders.
Tyson Cook was 4-0 at 121.
Penn Manor Holiday Tournament
Sidney O’Donnell placed second at 114 and Lucas Tirpak was third at 139 to lead Dallas.
The Mountaineers placed 17th out of 27 teams in the field at the two-day event, which ended Saturday.
Mount St. Joseph (Md.) ran away with the team title over Salesianum (Del.), 249½-147.
Dallas scored 59 points.
Lake-Lehman was 24th with 35.

Wyoming Valley West went 3-2 on the day to finish fifth in Saturday’s dual meet tournament in Pottsville.
Dorian Hoffman led the way for the Spartans, going 5-0 with four pins and a technical fall at 114.
Tunkhannock was winless in its pool.
