The teams that make up the Electric City Volleyball Academy Elite Eight Power Rankings of District 2 girls teams held their ground for the past week.
Ranked teams went a combined 10-0 against unranked teams and the two matches between ranked opponents resulted in the higher-seeded team winning, with No. 2 Berwick beating No. 3 Holy Redeemer and No. 4 Nanticoke topping No. 7 Tunkhannock.
As a result, there are no changes from a week ago in the latest rankings release, which came Wednesday morning.
It is the first time this fall in any of the seven sports, ranked each week by NEPASportsNation.com and NEPAFootball.com, that there were no changes from the previous week.
Delaware Valley, the district’s only unbeaten, remains first at 10-0.
Berwick and Holy Redeemer are second and third.
Nanticoke held fourth, followed by Crestwood, Western Wayne, Tunkhannock and Dunmore.
