CONNOR CRANAGE, Blue Ridge boys basketball
Cranage scored 57 points, leading Blue Ridge in each of its three wins, including the one that ended Elk Lake’s 15-game Lackawanna League Division 4 winning streak and put the Raiders in first place.
NYQUAN HOLLMAN-SANTOS, Wilkes-Barre Area boys basketball
Hollman-Santos scored 27 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead a 70-47 rout of Tunkhannock. He also shared the team scoring lead with 17 points in a 46-31 victory over Berwick.
KRISTA JONES, Elk Lake girls basketball
Jones scored 61 points in a 3-0 week, including 30 when the Class 2A Lady Warriors beat Scranton, a Class 6A team with a winning record.
BRYCE MOLINARO, Hazleton Area wrestling
Molinaro won the 189-pound title at the Wyoming Valley Conference Tournament with a 2-0 victory in the final over Connor Wrobleski in a match between wrestlers with a combined five district titles and a state medal on their resumes.
JADEN PEPE, Wyoming Area wrestling
Pepe won the 126-pound title and the Outstanding Wrestler award while leading Wyoming Area to its first Wyoming Valley Conference Tournament title.
DANE SCHUTTER, Wyoming Area boys basketball
Schutter scored 25 of his team’s 51 points in each game as Wyoming Area posted a pair of Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 victories.
SOPHIA TALUTTO, Dunmore girls basketball
Talutto scored a game-high 21 points and made 5 steals when Dunmore turned a battle for the Lackawanna League Division 3 lead into a 62-26 rout at Riverside. It was the only game of the week for the Lady Bucks.
