Mike Piscotty landed starts in half of the Kutztown University baseball team’s games as a redshirt sophomore.
The outfielder from Hanover Area appeared in 30 games, including 24 starts.
Piscotty batted .211 with a double, 15 runs, 6 RBI, 9 walks and a stolen base.
Kutztown, a National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II team, went 11-21 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and 17-21 overall.
Evan Musto, a graduate student from Wyoming Area, was also a member of the team, serving as a reserve catcher and infielder.
Musto received the Kutztown Male Senior Scholar-Athletic Award. A five-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete, Musto earned his Master of Education of curriculum and instruction in May after graduating magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Science in social studies secondary education in 2019.
In nine appearances this season, Musto was 0-for-9 with two walks.
During his career, Musto appeared in 28 games, batting .231 with three doubles, four RBI and a perfect fielding percentage.
