Dallas and Abington Heights used their league and district titles to remain in the top two spots in the final Riverfront Sports Elite Eight Boys Tennis Power Rankings of District 2 teams.
Dallas advanced to the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class 2A state quarterfinals after winning Wyoming Valley Conference and District 2 Class 2A titles.
Abington Heights, which won Lackawanna League and District 2 Class 3A titles, lost in the first round of the state tournament.
The other teams in the Elite Eight had already completed their seasons. Wyoming Seminary remained third, followed by: Scranton Prep, Valley View, Scranton, Delaware Valley and Wyoming Area.
