Holy Redeemer will try to become the first District 2 boys team to clinch a division title outright tonight when it travels to Wyoming Area for a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 game.

The Royals, the top-ranked Small School boys team in the My City Mortgage Super Six Power Rankings of District 2 teams, are 10-0 in the division for the only perfect league record by any boys team in the district. They are 16-3 overall, including a 78-34 rout in the first meeting with Wyoming Area (5-5, 8-10).

The top three teams in Lackawanna League Division 1 and the Division 2 champion are involved in a pair of games that highlight the girls schedule.

Leader and four-time defending division champion Scranton Prep (8-0, 13-3) is at Scranton (5-2, 12-4) in a Division 1 game.

Ranked teams meet when No. 5 Big School Abington Heights (6-2, 12-5) plays at No. 1 Small School Western Wayne (9-4, 14-4).

Both Delaware Valley teams are unbeaten, with the boys at 5-0 and the girls at 6-0. Both Elk Lake teams have winning records – the boys at 3-2 and the girls at 4-2.
