The Bob Simons Classic girls golf tournament for Lackawanna League teams and individuals is scheduled to get underway at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elkview Country Club.
The day’s schedule also includes some early-season boys golf and girls tennis action, highlighted by the Dallas at Wyoming Seminary girls tennis match.
Wyoming Seminary is opening defense of its Wyoming Valley Conference title. The Blue Knights are ranked third and the Mountaineers fourth among Small Schools in the opening Riverfront Sports Girls Tennis Super Six Power Rankings of District 2 teams.
