Bolesta runs for 313 yards, 5 TDs

Parker Bolesta made the most of 16 carries in the rain Friday night at Tunkhannock.

Bolesta ran for 313 yards and 5 touchdowns, all in the first 3 quarters, to lead Dallas to a 35-0 victory in a Wyoming Valley Conference Class 3A Division regular-season finale.

The loss left Tunkhannock short of the playoffs at 3-7.

Dallas is 7-2 and headed to the District 2 Class 3A playoffs and a home game with Pittston Area.

Bolesta ran for more than 200 yards just on his touchdowns. He scored once in each of the first two quarters, then three times in the third.

The entire fourth quarter was played under the Mercy Rule.

Bolesta also had two sacks to contribute to a defense that got four tackles and six assists from Ryan Cuba.
