Will Soma accounted for three touchdowns in the last 5:18 of the first half Friday night to send North Pocono on the way to its sixth straight victory, 38-7, over host Lake-Lehman in a non-league football game.
Soma hit Ty LaFave with a 4-yard touchdown pass to break a 7-7 tie. He scored on 2- and 8-yard touchdown runs 12 seconds part in the final minute of the half when Lake-Lehman lost a fumble on its only play between the two scores.
The flurry to end the second quarter made it 28-7 at halftime.
Michael Blaine rushed for more than 100 yards and scored on a 5-yard run midway through the fourth quarter for the only touchdown of the second half.
Jordan Carr kicked a third-quarter field goal for the other second-half points.
North Pocono (7-1) opened the scoring in the first quarter when Ashton Smith scooped up a blocked punt and returned it for a touchdown.
Colby Roberts tied the game on a 1-yard run in the first minute of the second quarter.
Lake-Lehman fell to 3-4.
