Justice Shoats scored three first-quarter touchdowns Friday night, then Holy Redeemer coasted to its first victory of the season, 31-0, over Montrose in a game played at Northwest High School.
Both teams came in winless, but the Royals quickly established their dominance with a 28-point first quarter. They completed their scoring before the midway point of the second quarter and coasted in with the victory.
Shoats scored on 27- and 21-yard passes from Jacob Hunter and returned a punt 54 yards for his other touchdown.
Josh Wesneski went off the right side for 8 yards for the other touchdown.
Nick Dunleavy kicked a 45-yard field goal in the second quarter.
Montrose is 0-4, including a forfeit when it did not have enough players to compete in Week Two, and still searching for its first points of the season.
