Nanticoke shut out Hanover Area, 4-0, Saturday in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 field hockey game.
Four of the six non-league games involving WVC teams also resulted in shutouts.
The non-league results: Wyoming Seminary over Selinsgrove, 8-0; Wyoming Area over Bloomsburg, 2-0; Lake-Lehman over Berwick, 17-0; Pocono Mountain East over Wallenpaupack, 1-0; Hazleton Area over Selinsgrove, 2-1; and Pittston Area over Central Columbia, 2-1.
Emma Watchilla had three goals and an assist for Wyoming Seminary. Lexy Lichtenstein, who had an assist, and Maddie Olshemski scored twice each.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Tunkhannock defeated Towanda in five sets in a non-league match.
