Nick Tomasetti and Luke Janiszewski ran for two touchdowns each Friday night as Western Wayne defeated visiting North Pocono, 27-6, in a non-conference game between Lackawanna Football Conference teams.
The game matched teams that had both won their openers.
The Western Wayne defense remained unscored upon through two games.
Tomasetti ran 6 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter and Janiszewski scored from the 1 a minute into the second for a 13-0 halftime lead.
North Pocono’s only score came when Riley Moore returned the second-half kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown.
The Wildcats regained command by scoring twice before the third quarter ended.
Tomsetti scored from the 4 and Janiszewski went in from the 25 to complete the scoring.
